Federal spending bill includes $12,500 EV tax credit

The spending bill hammered out by President Joe Biden and members of Congress includes a provision to increase the federal EV tax credit to $12,500, reports CNET.

That would be a $5,000 increase over the current $7,500 that’s available to qualifying cars and buyers, the article notes.
