CNBC: Volkswagen chief says German car giant will overtake Tesla on electric vehicle sales by 2025

Volkswagen CEO Herbert Diess, who appeared on CNBC’s “Squawk Box Europe” during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, spoke on topics ranging from supply chain challenges to financial markets.

Diess also addressed the success Tesla has had so far and why he expects Volkswagen, Europe’s largest automaker, to overtake the American start-up in EV sales.
